What is an event?
An event is any email-related signal that Engagor processes from your connected ESPs — deliveries, bounces, opens, clicks, complaints, unsubscribes, and deferrals.
Quick estimate: a sender with healthy engagement (40% opens, 6% clicks) typically generates around 1.5x their send volume in events. So 1M emails/month produces roughly 1.5M events. Sending 5M emails? Expect approximately 7–8M events.

Common questions
How are events counted?
Events include every webhook signal from your ESPs — deliveries, bounces, opens, clicks, complaints, and deferrals. Your tier is based on total events processed per month across all connected ESPs.
What if my volume exceeds my tier?
We'll notify you if you consistently exceed your tier's event limit. There are no surprise overages — we'll work with you to move to the right plan before the next billing cycle.
Can I switch plans later?
Your plan is based on your event volume. If your volume grows beyond your current tier, we'll work with you to move to the right tier at your next renewal. There's no self-service plan switching — talk to us and we'll sort it out.

What ESPs do you support?
Every tier includes all ESP and MTA integrations — SendGrid, Mailgun, Postmark, Amazon SES, SparkPost, Braze, PowerMTA, GreenArrow, KumoMTA, and more. No add-ons, no gating.
Where is my data hosted?
All data is hosted on AWS in the EU (Ireland, eu-west-1). We're fully GDPR compliant and working toward SOC 2 Type II certification.
